This week I was able to make a quick fix which got the binary conversion functions working. I had mistakenly created the Dictionary representing the morseChart within the loop instead of before it. Now, we are able to correctly flash a message in Morse Code. I need to add future improvements to this function so that it returns a # symbol for an unrecognized Morse sequence. We had our testing review this week. I prepared the test document since Ethan and Ryan had upcoming deadlines for other projects and I did not. Over the next week, we are really hoping to get our image processing producing a binary sequence used to translate the light signals. We definitely have the most difficult hurdle left to climb which is somewhat worrisome. My main task for the next week will be working on a compression/ verification for which frames contain a camera flash.
